Are ya’ll ready for this beauty by Shelly Fortune Events?? This is all around Southern charm wrapped up and tied with a giant gold bow! The GlenLary Estate served as the perfect backdrop for this blush and champagne wedding with all the right Lexington touches, captured beautifully by Honey Heart Photography, and not to mention Dupree Catering provided a (per-usual) amazing spread and Martine’s Pastries delivered a B-E-A-utiful monogrammed cake. The custom invite suite with horse details and late-night BBQ are just perfect in our book, too! Shelly sums up the day for us….
“Growing up in northern Kentucky, Allison had fond memories of summers spent in Lexington. When Greg proposed, Allison knew one thing for certain; she wanted her wedding to take place in that city.
The GlenLary Estate was the perfect setting for Allison & Greg’s fall wedding. With stunning grounds and a breathtaking view, it was the perfect place to host the guests who traveled from all over the world.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted with cocktails and live bluegrass inside the historic home. For dinner, the crowd of family and friends moved to the tented lawn, which was later the scene of joyous dancing. As the night progressed, guests moved to a second tent where they could relax in a more comfortable setting. The lounge-themed furniture, late night bar-b-que, well-appointed coffee cart, a few games of ping-pong, and more dancing brought this memorable night to a close.”
