Whitney was a girl after my own heart and not because she’s the sweetest thing you ever will meet, but because the girl wanted this wedding to sparkle… literally. When she showed me a photo of the bridesmaids dresses, I gasped and immediately asked if I could order one, too. I just LOVE how she went for it and didn’t look back (and good ol’ Jake just shook his head and threw his hands up). Whitney grabbed JMM Photography and took her home to Wisconsin, but not before she could set the design wheels in motion with Five Dot Design for her paper goods.
The entire wedding was white, black, sparkly silver with touches of pink and coral. She wanted the wedding to feel formal, but more on the glitzy and glam side instead of the black tie side… roaring 20’s almost, but without transforming completely to that era. We used sequin and glitter at any opportunity, even making glitter sticks for the escort card “pops.”
Whitney, you are an absolutely stunning bride and I’m so thankful you asked me to work with you. Any girl that chooses sparkle as one of her wedding colors is okay by me.
